THE MACHINE, America's top Pink Floyd show, has forged a 20 year reputation of excellence, extending the legacy of Pink Floyd, while creating another legacy all their own. Known for performing a diverse mix of The Floyd's extensive 16-album repertoire (complete with faithful renditions of well known hits as well as obscure gems), The Machine's stellar musicianship, dramatic lighting and video, and their passionate delivery sets them above and beyond the rest. www.themachinelive.com
Perhaps no other band has gotten more mileage out of the element of surprise than the Bacon Brothers. Through countless gigs and five albums-including the new White Knuckles-surprising people is something the band has gotten quite good at since forming some 11 years ago. Put simply, at each tour stop, the Bacon Brothers encounter cynical or curious listeners expecting no more than a vanity project. What they encounter instead is a group of guys who can actually play. www.baconbros.com

There is a tradition in classic black music that goes back to the smooth crooning of Sam Cooke, the earthy gritty sound of Otis Redding, the lyrical beauty of Curtis Mayfield and the unfiltered intensity of Donny Hathaway. It's a combination of church-rooted halleljah praisin' and tell-it-like-it-is stonytellin'. Few contemporary artists are equipped to carry the torch with a sense of authenticity. Anthony Hamilton may be the sole indeed, soulful exception. Filling an obvious void in today's marketplace, Anthony's pure unadulterated emotion-filled vocals mixed with a no-holds-barred approach to truth telling appealed to music buyers worldwide as evidenced by the response to his platinum-plus set Comin' From Where I'm From. www.anthonyhamilton.com/
A fundraiser to benefit Camp Harbor View. Hosted by Tony V. and featuring Kevin Meaney, Lenny Clarke, Kelly MacFarland, Rich Ceisler along with Tom Doyle and James Montgomery
In a world of few absolutes, this is one: KEVIN MEANEY was born to entertain. From his earliest days as a singing altar boy at Mass, he's gone on to achieve mass appeal for his singular brand of comedy that includes acting out stories, musical flights of fancy and telling tales on the family.
Al Green was the first great soul singer of the '70s and arguably the last great Southern soul singer. With his seductive singles for Hi Records in the early '70s, Green bridged the gap between deep soul and smooth Philadelphia soul. He incorporated elements of gospel, interjecting his performances with wild moans and wails, but his records were stylish, boasting immaculate productions that rolled along with a tight beat, sexy backing vocals, and lush strings. Green's classic early- '70s recordings retained their power and influence throughout the decades, setting the standard for smooth soul. www.algreenmusic.com
Even though Roomful of Blues' lineup has changed over the years, the band has always been one of the tightest, most joyful blues ensembles in the world. Currently an eight-piece unit led by guitarist Chris Vachon, the band has never sounded fresher or stronger. In 2007, singer Dave Howard took over the vocal duties, bringing his gritty and soulful vocals and adding another bright new dimension to the jazzy, jump-blues musical roots. Their winning combination of jump, swing, blues, R&B and soul remains their calling card, as does their ability to fill the dance floor.
